Josie Godfrey

Josie has worked in rare diseases for over 10 years. Josie joined NICE to establish the NICE Highly Specialised Technologies programme at NICE following her time at the National Specialised Commissioning Team where she led work to establish the UK’s Health Technology Assessment programme for rare diseases. She currently runs a consultancy business (JG Zebra Consulting) specialising in strategic market access, policy and stakeholder engagement. She is the Strategic Director for Duchenne UK’s Project HERCULES, a multi-stakeholder collaboration developing evidence and tools to support Health Technology Assessments (HTAs) for new treatments for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is a trustee at Metabolic Support UK.
