Piotr Ozieranski is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the Department of Social and Policy Sciences, University of Bath, UK. His research interests focus on two areas of sociology of pharmaceuticals. First, the processes of power associated with drug pricing, reimbursement and health technology assessment. Second, the nature, distribution and potential determinants of drug company payments to the healthcare sector. Geographically, his research has examined European countries (for example, the UK, Sweden, Poland and Hungary) New Zealand, Japan and the US.
