Rebecca Beeken, PhD is an Associate Professor of Behavioural Medicine and Yorkshire Cancer Research Academic Fellow at the University of Leeds. She co-leads the Behavioural Oncology research stream within Leeds Institute of Health Sciences. Her research focuses on developing and trialling complex behavioural interventions to support physical activity, healthy eating behaviours and weight management both for primary prevention, and to improve outcomes post-diagnosis. Dr Beeken is the Chair for the International Society for Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity Cancer Special Interest Group (SIG), and she co-Chairs the UK Society of Behavioural Medicine Cancer SIG and the Population Health workstream for the NIHR Cancer and Nutrition Collaboration.
