Marty Tenenbaum is the Founder and Chairman of Cancer Commons, a non-profit network of physicians, scientists and patients that provides personalised action plans to late-stage, metastatic cancer patients. He founded Cancer Commons after surviving his own battle with cancer. Marty is also co-Founder and Chairman at xCures, a platform that generates a comprehensive outline of a patient’s medical history from hospital and clinic visits.
Marty began his career as a renowned computed scientist and pioneer in the field of Artificial Intelligence, leading elite research groups at SRI International and Schlumberger Ltd He graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT as well as a Ph.D from Stanford. He is a fellow of the American Association of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and has been awarded numerous awards for his work in AI, Internet Commerce and patient advocacy.
