Ariadna Tibau is a Medical Oncologist and Health Services Researcher at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Barcelona, Spain. She obtained her MD degree in 2003 from the University of Barcelona. She did postgraduate training in Medical Oncology at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (years 2006-2009) followed by a research fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada (years 2012-2013). In her clinical practice, she provides care to patients with breast cancer. Dr. Tibau’s research program is focused on oncology drug development and the clinical benefit and value in cancer care, as well as the study of patient-reported outcomes (PROs). Dr. Tibau has published over 40 peer-reviewed manuscripts in indexed journals with a high impact factor (The BMJ, Lancet Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Oncology, The Journal of the National Cancer Institute...). At present, and since July 2024, she is a visiting faculty member at PORTAL (Program on Regulation, Therapeutics, and Law) within the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women's Hospital led by Professor Aaron Kesselheim.
