James Tabery is a professor in the
Department of Philosophy and a member of the
Center for Health Ethics, Arts & Humanities at the University of Utah. He is also one of the PI’s for Utah’s NIH-funded Center for Excellence in ELSI Research (UCEER). Tabery is a philosopher of science, medicine, and bioethics; and his research focuses on the ways that genetic science unfolds and impacts clinical care, the criminal justice system, and public health. His research has been featured in
