James Tabery, PhD

 

James Tabery is a professor in the Department of Philosophy and a member of the Center for Health Ethics, Arts & Humanities at the University of Utah. He is also one of the PI’s for Utah’s NIH-funded Center for Excellence in ELSI Research (UCEER). Tabery is a philosopher of science, medicine, and bioethics; and his research focuses on the ways that genetic science unfolds and impacts clinical care, the criminal justice system, and public health. His research has been featured in The New York TimesThe GuardianTimes Literary SupplementNational GeographicTimeScientific American, and Science.
